Bishop Interactive is looking for a Houston-based Senior Designer with a thirst for creating innovative design to join our creative team.

Nothing Less than a Rockstar.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience, an outstanding online portfolio and a solid ability to carry ideas from concept to completion. Not only will they excel at creating brilliant designs for the web, but also in bringing those designs to life with current standards based HTML and CSS coding skills. The ability to work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail is a must.

The Role.

Our list of projects is long and diverse. This position will be responsible for creating layouts, user interfaces, client ads, as well as developing the creative for in-house marketing and branding initiatives.

Skills We Want:

- Superior concept development (independent and within a team)
- Ability to collaborate with development and content teams
- Expert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and InDesign
- Excellent understanding of HTML and advanced CSS
- Solid grasp of web standards, information architecture and enhancing the user experience
- Strong understanding of typography for web and print mediums
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered.

Extras that Help:

- An understanding of Actionscript 2.0
